Prayer Night/Monday

Come join our prayer group in the sanctuary. We want to pray for our community, country, and world. We want to strengthen our hearts and minds through prayer and perseverance. Above all we want the Holy Spirit to HAVE HIS WAY.
Family Night/Wednesday
6:00pm – 7:15pm
We have classes for all ages and dinner is provided at 5:30pm before classes begin. For our Family Nights, we meet the first Wednesday in February, to the Wednesday before Easter. We then break for the summer, and come back the first Wednesday in September with our Back to School Bash, to the Wednesday before the week of Thanksgiving. G1 Youth meets throughout the entire year.
Community Outreach
We want to serve and reach every generation of our community and the world all for God’s Glory and for the Kingdom of JESUS CHRIST… it’s all for Him anyway!! We love to work with the other churches in our community. We are part of the Ministerial Alliance which provides assistance to families in need. We participate in VESPERS at Potosi High School and the Baccalaureate at Potosi High School and Kingston High School alongside the Ministerial Alliance. The ministerial Alliance hosts several other community events throughout the year that we get to be a part of such as National Day of Prayer, our Community Palm Sunday Service, and Community Thanksgiving Service .
Potosi First wants to be “THAT CHURCH” that God can use. We strive to work together and lean on each other’s talents to reach our community and to build God’s Kingdom. Our church outreaches include: Stand Up Against Bullying Campaign: Wear Blue Against Bullying, Hang a Prayer, Light Up the Square that meets the first Friday in December, and See you at the Pole. We look for ways to offer our assistance and to meet the needs of our community. Our church hosts the Back to School Bash on the first Wednesday in September, our Annual Harvest Party in October, and the Hang a Prayer, Light up the Square in December. The harvest fields are ready…We’re ready to Work!
